Steven Harris qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1983. He started his own Sports Injury Clinic in 1988. Since then he has worked with many amateur and professional golfers. Realising that many golfers had restrictions in their flexibility, which were responsible for limiting their swing and causing injury, he developed a method of assessing flexibility of joints and muscles and remedial exercises to enable clients to regain flexibility. To compliment this he developed a series of exercises to specifically strengthen the important golf muscles.

In 2003 he started a clinic called the Golfers Body Clinic, providing this analysis and exercise programme, the BodyGolf exercise programme. Since then he has seen dramatic improvements in both amateur and professional golfers due to his programme.

Most notably, Paul Broadhurst, the European PGA Tour and Ryder Cup golfer who has risen from 330th in the world to the World top 50 since starting to work on the BodyGolf Exercise programme. During this period he has also worked with the PGA at the Belfry Golf Centre, famous for hosting the Ryder Cup.

In 2004 he has become a member of The Health Professions Council.

The success of the programme has inspired this DVD which enables golfers to assess their own physical limitations and teaches how to correct them through a series of stretching and strengthening exercises custom designed for each individuals needs .

Mr Harris continues to work in Staffordshire, England at The Golfers Body Clinic.
